My friend Duncan came to see meat my house.It was so nice to have a visit from my mates. Helping my dad put the groceries away.I really liked the noodles dad bought for me.  

 Santa has arrived at the centre! Look how excited I am that he dropped off a present for my friends and I. 

 I went to have morning tea at the rest home with the residents. It was lovely meeting everyone and socialising with the team at the rest home. 

 I had a visit at home from Jo and Jackie. So good, we ran around and played with bubbles and had an awesome day.  

My first day back for 2023 and I’m straight into playing music and instruments and dancing.  I was so happy to see my friends and look forward the year!   

We celebrated Christmas at our centre and it was awesome. Staff did a few funny skits, we had a dance, ate a pizza and hot chips for lunch followed by some delicious ice cream with sweet toppings. The best part was SANTA came to visit and bring heaps of goodies for us. I was so happy with my barbie dolls and other treats.   

Here’s me blowing bubbles for sports day. I love when the bubbles float in the air.  I went for a ride to help with meals on wheels. It was the 1st time I did it and enjoyed it.   

I’ve been practising for my concert. Today I did my dress rehearsal and I love my cape.   

I worked on the final bits and pieces for the concert. I love arts and crafts things.   

  I have been working on decorating my cape for the concert.  I went to the park for the afternoon and loved swinging on the swing. It was beautiful! Loved the wind blowing in my hair. 

During science and tech, I did some fishing that was so fun.  I’ve started decorating my dress for the concert with gems. It was great fun  

I’ve been taking my own dishes up to the sink. It makes me feel good when I’m able to do this.   

As part of my goal, I want to take my own plates up to the sink to get it cleaned after morning tea & lunch. I’ve been doing a great job each time I’m at the centre. I do need reminding and encouragement from staff to do my task but it does make me feel good to do it.   

I love music so much! When I get the chance I just get up and dance  

We had a day where everyone came dressed in their pajamas. We played games all morning followed by heaps of dancing. Then for lunch I had Hawaiian pizza followed by a lovely movie to relax. It was awesome!  

Whenever I come to work, my favourite thing to do is color. I do an awesome job colouring and love the Disney pictures. Frozen is one of my ultimate favourite Disney movies.   

 I enjoyed working on this art project, pasting match sticking against the koru drawing. 

During art session, I helped crush some shells for a project we are working on. I smashed shells with a hammer & made sure I had my safety gear on. It was so fun!  

I had so much fun at Sports day! We did heaps of dancing, competing in balls games and dressing up the staff in toilet rolls and newspaper. We spent all weekend dancing around the center and I enjoyed every moment of it.   

I participated in the drama role play with my friends. We role played Goldilocks and the 3 bears with a twist of Fairy GodMother. I got to play the Fair Gold Mother!
